目前,由于体积限制,SSD 配件仅支持 5.5 瓦的“被动”散热,这使得持续写入速度只能达到 1.5GB/s,远低于期望的 4GB/s。 要达到 4GB/s 的速度,则需要 12 瓦的散热能力。 业界一直在努力寻找解决散热问题的方案,但目前采用的笨重散热片以及添加了噪音极大的风扇都未能达到理想的效果。

解决方案​

通过搭载两个 AirJet Mini 散热芯片,可以将轻薄安静、紧凑的 SSD 配件的散热能力极限,从 5.5 瓦提升至 12 瓦。当制造商在 SSD 配件中设计集成 AirJet 时,两个 AirJet Mini 可以提供 6.5 瓦的“主动”散热能力,配合现有 5.5 瓦的“被动”散热,总计可达 12 瓦的散热能力。这样既能实现持续 4GB/s 的写入速度,又无需额外的笨重散热片或有噪音的风扇。
